When the good folks at JP Sport Fishing of Quepos, Costa Rica needed a new website to bring their online presence into the modern world, Colomark Media got the call. As with many of the sport fishing outfitters in this region, JP Sport Fishing was struggling with how they offer U.S. and European visitors the web experience needed to convey trust and reliability.
A lot of extra bells and whistles were added to the design of this site to give it a fun personality along with the visual POP it needed to capture bookings. With a professional copywriter crafting the page content, Colomark went to work on the design. Custom graphics were designed to highlight various fishing seasons, a bold background image welcomes site visitors, and a pricing grid was implemented with unique hover effects.
Most of JP’s clientele look for timely and accurate fishing reports from the daily operations. Colomark built a very clean and simple to update spreadsheet for the daily catch reports which the crew of JP can access at any time from any computer. The data is uploaded to a Google doc which simultaneously updates the web content with no additional steps required. In addition, other fun items were added such as their Trip Advisor rating and reviews, Instagram photo stream and complete photo gallery.
